Ava August
Ava August was 14 when she was performing at the Staples Center, Downtown Los Angeles to an SOLD crowd. It was the time when Los Angeles Kings were playing professional hockey. Ava August had been booked by The Los Angeles Galaxy as well as Los Angeles Dodgers, two professional baseball and soccer teams. However, COVID-19 forced the teams to cancel their bookings. Ava August, at the 15 years of age, was one of the newest performers as well as judges on American Idol Season 19. Ava August won the GOLDEN TICKER in the Audition Round. In the next round, Ava August was advanced to the Genre round, Duet Round, Showstopper rounds, Celebrity/Solo, Top 16 and top 10 rounds. Ava was named to the America's TOP 10 for the year. Ava August performed two originals for American Idol, Neighbor boy and Ghost of You. Ava also sang an earthshattering duet with the internationally famous musician, Josh Groban. Ava has released her critically-acclaimed song Daybreak at age 15. It was accompanied with her first music video with animation. Daybreak was played during the Tropical Surf Hour on KX FM 93.5FM on 11/01/20. Daybreak ran on November 29, 20 at 88.5 FM LA/OC, to an audience of eleven million Southern California listeners.
